Oxidized (darkened) silver rabbits with a white drusy agate “Easter Egg”.
The drusy agate reminded me of the sugar candy Easter eggs that you peered into from an opening at one end to see a little scene. The white sugar shell gave the egg a sparkly effect as the light moved over the sugar crystals; in fact, drusy, which comes from the German word “druse” for geode, refers to small crystals covering over a mineral’s surface. It forms naturally from silica-rich water getting into very tight crevices and subjected to immense pressure over time. Any stone could potentially develop drusy crystals but it’s most commonly found in chalcedony or agate.
